PSF - Elizabeth

Another picture from our "Snow Day" ... isnt she just absolutely beautiful? I love this picture of her and to be honest I dont even remember taking it of her but when I was looking thru the pictures I found it and it has become my favorite of her. She was just having a blast in the snow sledding and throwing snowballs she was truely enjoying her day off.

Snow Day

Want to know what did yesterday instead of go to school or work? We took a Snow Day! Instead of learning spelling words, and taking a math test we did this instead ....

Doesnt it look WAY more fun?

Instead of changing diapers and mixing formula I got to play with my new camera! My belated Christmas present from my hubby (even if i had to tell him which one I wanted and order it myself) was a Nikon D60 IT'S LOVE I tell ya!
All the pictures above and below were taken with it. I'd rather take pictures of the kids doing this ....

over changing diapers anyday! Who wouldn't?

Gosh my baby girl is growing up its hard to imagine that this was my baby girl just a year ago ...

and this is her today BIG difference.

Where does the time go?

PSF - Today Sucked

Today was a sad day ... after 18 fun days we sent My Favorite Soldier back to Iraq. It wasnt any easier the second time around, but we did what we had to do and said our good byes and walked out of the airport with tears running down our faces and got in the car and drove home. It was a long, quiet ride home.

WW - Megan's a Popstar!

So earlier tonight while I was being the worlds worst mother (my addiction to Guitar Hero is gonna cost me my family one day I am sure of it but I still cant stop lol.) I heard my youngest singing so I went over and peeked around the corner and what I saw had me running to get my camera to get it on video. I must warn you do not watch if you are currently injesting liquids or your monitor may pay a heavy price.

I'm It!

Ive been tagged by Tracy at A Priceless Journey. So according to the rules I have to go my 4th folder and pick the 4th picture.

This picture is actually a sad one its the day My Favorite Soldier deployed. This is a picture of MFS and Megan snuggling for the last time before he got on the bus to leave us for 15 months. Theres not much to say about this picture it sort of speaks for itself.

So now I have to tag 4 people so here goes:

Michelle

Sonya

Dana

Amy

Here are the rules:
Go to the fourth folder on your computer where you store photos. Select your fourth picture (no exceptions)Post the picture with a story and a link to the person who tagged you tag 4 people to do the same.
Let me know if you played!!!

WW - What You Dont See.

What you dont see in this picture is Michelle undoing my bra! Oh yeah you read that right she thought she'd take my mind off the fact that I was waiting on My Favorite Soldier by undoing my bra. Its such a Michelle thing to do shes always doing something crazy. When Amber asked what was so dam funny I told her that Michelle undid my bra and well being the other crazy friend I hang out with busted out laughing and said "with one hand?" To which Michelle replied " Oh Yeah .. I got mad skillz yo!" I made her go into the bathroom with me and fix it and then she was stupid brave enough to hand me her camera while she went to the bathroom hehe ... you tell me what would you have done? I took her camera and held it over the door of her stall and snapped a picture its SOOO not my fault that her camera had a delay on it caught her more exposed than I was going for. What happened to that picture you ask oh well she DELETED it like she was worried that one day it would make its way onto my blog or something.

WW - He's Home!!

We've been counting down the days since he left and slowly the days went by til FINALLY he was in my arms again! We got up Saturday morning and drove to Springfield early hoping he would be able to catch an earlier flight than his 3PM flight. He called me as we were leaving and said he got a flight leaving at 1030 and would land at 1200 good call on my part to be up and ready early, he called again and said that the weather in Atlanta was crappy and his plane was delayed a half an hour so we had to kill another half an hour but we did it in fact we over killed our time and were worried that we wouldnt make it in time. We got there and found no line at the check in counter so we got our passes to go back to the gate and wait for his plane to land.

I have the BEST FRIENDS in the world they all came with us to welcome home My Favorite Soldier THANKS GIRLS YOU ROCK!

It seemed like it took forever for his plane to get here but finally we saw it land and after what seemed like the entire plane emptied I saw him!

The kids were too excited to wait for him to get to reach us and met him at the door.

Then it was my turn he was in my arms and all was right with my world once again.

There was a little old lady who took pictures of us waiting for our soldier and thanked him and me for our service it was really sweet. After every one had thier chance to welcome My Favorite Soldier home we started to leave and thats when this old lady came up to me and hugged me and said " I was a WWII Bride my husband was a POW but he came home and we had 57 years together I hope you and your soldier have atleast that many years together" Then she hugged me again and said "were sisters you and I" and then she left I was in tears it was probably the sweetest thing someone has ever said to me.
I am sneaking this post in while daddy is reading the kids a story and getting them ready for bed .... how sweet it is to get a break from that. I dont know how often I will get a chance to post, but I wanted to you all know he is here safe and give you a little sneak peak of the pictures. I will share the rest soon!
