At the end of the day ....

I do the sames things that I've always done I just do them with out my favorite soldier. I send the kids of to school, clean the house, go grocery shopping, pay bills, run errands for him and I'm still back in time to get the kids off the school bus, help them with their homework, I still make dinner but put one less setting at the table, get the kids ready for bed with out help, tell those same kids that daddy loves and misses them very much and will see them in their dreams, and then at the end of the day I go to bed alone.

I love being an Army Wife and I know these separations are part of the package and are only temporary but on days like today when the phone hasn't rang and there's no letter in the mail box or the email box this loneliness creeps in and I miss him even more. I love you babe - I cant wait to see you again!

I am right there with ya Brandy.Hopefully we won't have to many days like these.

At least they can do their jobs knowing that we are here taking care of things and they don't have to worry.

Ugh my day exactly too. I guess we all should have gotten dressed and ddrug our butts out into the world. I didn't even open the blinds today. I cleaned in my pj's.

But you have to be more honest, all that bill paying mailbox having crap is bs and we all know it!

Roy always told me that the ones that are really fighting the war are those who are left behind! It is always tough playing the waiting game...but you have one up on me. It being my first deployment, I stopped my life not knowing how to go on....I give you props for continuing. I know we have to do it for our kids, but sometimes you just feel like you want to stay in bed until he comes home!

Hugs to you!

I admire you all so much. Too bad somebody doesn't do a show about the REAL life on army wives. Thank you again for all you sacrifice for the rest of us.
